HOT STONE MASSAGE

What is Hot Sone Masage?
Hot Stone Massage incorporates the use of hot, oiled, basalt stones (volcanic stones), in a full relaxation body massage. The volcanic stones are first heated in a pot of hot water and then coated with aromatherapy massage oils. The hot stones are placed on the hands, arms, shoulders, back, legs, feet, neck and face to warm the body, allowing you to feel deeply relaxed . Experience the smooth texture of oiled stones, as the soothing heat penetrates deeply into the muscles to relieve all tensions. Hot Stone Massage stimulates the circulatory system, relaxes muscles, helps release toxins, induces deep relaxation, relieves pain and muscle spasms, and creates a feeling of peacefulness.

History
The use of basalt stones (volcanic stones) is old and has been passed on through the ages to many generations. This ancient therapy was used by Native Americans for their spiritual and physical recharging of energies. They also used the stones in their sweat lodges. Many different nationalities, for eg. the Russians, have used these stones in their baths. The Hawaiians used the volcanic stones for healing and burial ceremonies and the list goes on.

Chinese Cupping Therapy
CHINESE CUPPING

Chinese Cupping is a therapy that uses jars or cups to increase local blood flow and draw toxins to the skin's surface . A flame is used to briefly heat the air in the cups before they are applied to the skin. As the air cools in the cup, a vacuum forms that pulls up on the skin, stimulating the acupressure effect. Traditional cupping dates back to over 3000 years ago and has been used as a part of the primary health care services offered in China. Cupping may be combined with massage therapy for added relief from joint pain, muscle injury, headaches, infections, bronchial congestion, gastro-intestinal disorders and other conditons.
